The HDPE division operates under M/s Sudarshan Pipes Extrusions Pvt. Ltd., with its manufacturing facility located at Dabaspet Industrial area, Bangalore. This unit produces HDPE and MDPE pipes, electrofusion, spigot and compression fittings, PLB ducts, power ducts, 7-way multi-duct systems with fittings, gas pipes, as well as drip and sprinkler irrigation pipes and fittings. The division is headed by its CEO, Mr. Vikram Salampuria.
As part of its expansion strategy, Sudarshan Pipes is establishing a new manufacturing facility in the Oblapura Industrial Area, Bangalore, to produce a comprehensive range of plumbing pipes, including CPVC, uPVC, and PPR pipes and fittings, along with higher diameter HDPE pipes. With this expansion, the combined production capacity of Sudarshan Pipes is expected to reach approximately 78,000 MTP.

With a career spanning 30 years, Shri Arvind Kumar Salampuria has seamlessly blended financial acumen with industrial innovation. After establishing a successful practice as a Chartered Accountant in 1987, he pivoted to the manufacturing sector in 1993, eventually relocating to Bangalore to build what would become a regional powerhouse.
Under his strategic stewardship, the Sudarshan Group expanded significantly, culminating in the establishment of Sudarshan Pipes Extrusions Pvt Ltd in 2017. His influence extends deep into industry governance through his tenures with the Bihar Industries Association and the FKCCI.
Mr. Salampuria’s leadership is equally defined by his commitment to social responsibility. As a past President of Rotary Bangalore Peenya and a Trustee of multiple charitable trusts, his philanthropic efforts mirror his professional dedication. His technical insight and persistent vision have been the driving forces in transforming Sudarshan Pipes into the leading name in South India’s polymer industry.
Earlier, plastic pipes-commonly known as PVC pipes-were used for irrigation purposes and water transportation. Whereas, Advanced Plastic Pipes (PE/PVC) have replaced all conventional piping (metal/cement) due to their better properties, low cost, long life, easy installation, trusted, reliable, and sustainable nature for infrastructure development projects (drinking water, drainage, ducting), irrigation, industrial, and building complex projects.
Sudarshan Pipes, being a leading manufacturer of new generation products in the polymer pipe industry, produces the following products in its Bommasandra, Dabaspet, and Oblapura plants since 2003, conforming to BIS and international standards.
