By qualification, a Chartered Accountant and complete visionary towards the industry, Arvind Salampuria started his career as a practicing Chartered Accountant and proprietor of the leading firm M/s. A K Salampuria & Associates in Patna in 1987. He entered the industry in 1993 as the promoter of Shiva Poltubes Pvt Ltd, Patna. In 2003, he shifted to Bangalore and incorporated Sudarshan Extrusions Pvt Ltd with the vision to lead the polymer piping industry. In 2017-18, under the same group, he promoted Sudarshan Pipes Extrusions Pvt Ltd, Bangalore. He has been an active member of the Bihar Industries Association, serving as Executive Committee Member, Treasurer, and Joint Secretary, and has held the post of Director at the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry. A philanthropist, Arvind is a major donor to Rotary International, a past President of Rotary Bangalore Peenya, and a Trustee of Maharajah Agrasen Hospital and Rotary Bangalore Prime Trust. With extensive experience in the pipe industry, he has transformed Sudarshan Pipes from its humble beginnings to becoming South India’s number one in the pipe industry.
